Announcing the upcoming formation of

Bevel, Gardner and Associates Inc.

Tom Bevel, Ross Gardner, Iris Dalley and Tom "Grif" Griffin are proud to announce that Bevel, Gardner and Associates will soon be offering the excellent services you've come to expect from them individually, from a single entity.

We expect this group to enhance the overall content and quality of the training we offer and to provide true peer review for all case work, by seasoned, experienced and qualified crime scene and bloodstain pattern analysts.

We expect the group to be active NLT August/Septemeber 2008.  In the interim, feel free to contact anyone of us for assistance.

Our mission at Bevel, Gardner and Associates Inc. will remain:

• To provide accurate peer reviewed bloodstain pattern and or crime scene analysis of complex crime scenes in support of criminal or other legal actions.
• To provide outstanding instruction in bloodstain pattern analysis, crime scene analysis and crime scene processing. 

Ross M. Gardner worked for the United States Army Criminal Investigation Command (USACIDC) as a felony criminal investigator for nearly twenty years. He retired as a Command Sergeant Major and Special Agent in 1999 after serving a total of 24 years in US Army law enforcement. Between 1999 and 2003, Mr. Gardner served as the Chief of Police for Lake City Georgia, a small suburban Atlanta police department. He began serving as a full-time consultant in 2003.

Mr. Gardner holds a Masters degree in Computer and Information Systems Management from Webster University, a Bachelors degree from Wayland Baptist University and Associates degree from Central Texas College. He graduated first in his class at the Scenes of Crime Officers Course, New Scotland Yard, Hendon England in 1985 and between 1988 and 1996 served as an adjunct professor for Central Texas College in their police science program. He is a former President of the Rocky Mountain Association of Bloodstain Pattern Analysts (RMABPA), as well as the Association for Crime Scene Reconstruction (ACSR) and has served as the Chairmen of the Education Committee for both the RMABPA and the International Association of Bloodstain Pattern Analysts (IABPA). He is a current member of the FBI Scientific Workgroup on Bloodstain Pattern Analysis (SWGSTAIN) and serves as the Chair of the Taxonomy and Terminology subcommittee.

Mr. Gardner is certified by the International Association for Identification as Senior Crime Scene Analyst. He is a Distinguished Member of ACSR. Mr. Gardner is an active instructor and consultant in crime scene analysis, bloodstain pattern analysis and crime scene investigation; teaching to a variety of groups ranging from police and investigative organizations to trial counsel professional development groups. He co-authored the text Bloodstain Pattern Analysis, Theory and Practice: A Lab Manual, Bloodstain Pattern Analysis, With an Introduction to Crime Scene Reconstruction, 2nd Edition and is the author of Practical Crime Scene Processing and Investigation.
